When it is your turn in the DWM V2 waitlist queue, I will send an email from steamingcoax@gmail.com to the email you provided, confirming your details and requesting payment via the option you provided in the form. 


Please check your spam folders and beware of scammers! Scammers will typically try to rush you or make you feel bad to get money from you, I will NEVER do that.

V2 Appearance

The V2 will feature the exact same monochrome LCD dot matrix display as the V1 to maintain readability in excessive lighting environments while maintaining very low power consumption.

There is an optional grey display that can be purchased if the user wants even better readability in outdoor environments. The grey display looks very similar a calculator display when the backlight is turned off and can be difficult to read in low light environments.

Price

For orders placed after October 15th 2024, the standard price for the DWM V2 will be $275 USD + tax and shipping (unless there are any massive supply chain price changes) and comes with a lithium battery pack and USBC charger that drops into one of the extra element slots on the side of the Bird 43 housing. The original price of $249 USD was to give thanks to the first round of waitlist individuals (thank you so much, your orders are being built and validated now).

Shipping

Note: I am making these from the Montreal area in Quebec, Canada.

Shipping and import duties and charges are NOT included in the price listed above. They are added on to the price once an order confirmation has been made.


If you are in the Montreal area, a local pickup or drop off can be arranged to save on shipping costs.

Shipping within Canada will vary from about $15 - $35 CAD depending on your region.

Shipping to the USA will vary from about $18 - $45 USD + import duties and charges.

Shipping to other regions is accepted, shipping costs will be calculated when order payment is required.

Delays

DWM V2's are being built to meet the high demand and the sale of V1 is paused.

Due to how long it takes to receive parts, solder, print the casings, assemble, and test to ensure a quality product, it might take a little bit for me to complete your order. Please be patient as I'm doing this alone while attending university. Thank you for your interest and patience! Feel free to reach out by emial if there's any concerns.

Parts

If any (replacement) parts are needed (IC's, display, battery, housing, etc...) I will supply them or give a replacement part number upon request.
